31歳か．．．正直でいうと今一差が感じません。もうどうでもいいという気持ちかな？どうせもう若くないし．．．（笑）でも、ちょっと面白いのがアメリカに戻ってからは皆さんに「30歳に見えない！」とか言われたり、やはりこっちでは自分が若く見えるんですか。日本ではいつも実の年齢より年上に見えたのに。しかし一つだけは変わってません。日本ではやはり日本人に見えなかったから、ちょっと珍しい顔でした。アメリカでは白人にも見えないから珍しい顔です。トホホ．．．大学の頃までその変わっている顔のせいで物凄く悩みましたが、今は年齢と同じくどうでもいい気持ちです。（笑）それより、この珍しい顔の御陰で皆さんに覚えてもらえているので、感謝しています。
実は一昨日に新しいプロフィール写真を撮ってもらいました。その中の一枚（1300枚以上を撮ってもらった。疲れた！！！）をのせようと思ったけど、昨日すてきな誕生日カードをファンの一人からもらって、これはやはり自分の顔写真の何百倍も面白いと思いました。
また一年頑張ります！皆さんもまた一年間の応援と励みをお願い致します！

31 years old... To be honest, it doesn't really feel any different than 30. It's kinda like, "Well, it's not like I'm young anymore, so what does another year matter." =9 I will say that it is kind of interesting that now that I am back in America, people don't think I look like I am in my thirties. When I was in Japan, nobody believed that I was in my twenties... (And no, I didn't look like a teenager either.) However, there is one thing about the way that I look that hasn't changed. In Japan, I didn't look like the average Japanese person, so I had that "unique" or "exotic" look. Now that I am back in America, I don't really look white, black, or asian, so I still have that "unique/exotic" look. =) Now back when I was in school, that would have driven me OUT OF MY MIND, but nowadays I guess it's like my age in that I really don't care. =) Actually, that's not completely true. These days, I'm thankful for the way I look and the fact that it has allowed me to stand out and be remembered.
Speaking of the way I look, I actually had new profile pictures taken the day before yesterday. I was thinking that I would upload one (of the 1,300 I had taken) for this post, but yesterday I received an unexpected birthday card from one of my fans. Personally, I think this is a hundred times more interesting than some picture of my head. =) (But for those of you that care, I'll be posting some of those pics in the following weeks.)

My roomie and I are actually finishing something up for you, too, but our Internet connection hates us lately.
And as much as I'd like to avoid that whole "getting better with age" adage, I think Yuka-san would agree with me ^.^
